Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague
nám. Jana Palacha 2
116 38 Praha 1
Czech Republic

The venue is located immediately next to the metro stop Staroměstská (Line A or green line), or the tram stop Staroměstská (trams 17 and 18). It is also a short walk from any location in Prague’s Old Town (Staré město).

Participants are free to arrange their accommodation, choosing from a broad range of options, either in the historical center of Prague, or in its surroundings. The following website can be useful when searching for accommodation:

How to get to the venue

Possibly the best way to get to the city is by public transport buses (in white-red color scheme) which depart frequently and are relatively comfortable. They depart from in front of the arrival halls and so are easy to find.

Tickets can be bought from an info point (Infocentrum) of the Prague Public Transport Company (Dopravní podnik) in the arrival hall, or from yellow ticket machines at the bus stop, or (for a bit higher price) from the driver.

Many of you will probably take the bus No. 119 and transfer to the metro trains at the Dejvická bus stop (the final stop). Note that there is a lift just behind the entrance to the metro station.

Taxis are many times more expensive, but a good choice if your luggage is particularly heavy or large. There are only two taxi companies licensed to operate in the airport - AAA and Fix - see the
airport's website.

The venue can be reached by taking the metro line C (red) from the stop Hlavní nádraží, changing to line A (green) at the stop Muzeum, and taking line A to the stop Staroměstská.
