How to get to Zaragoza

AIRPORT- The airport is situated 9 km from the city. At present, there are regular flights to some Spanish and European cities (London-Stansted, Paris-Beauvais, Brussels-Charleroi, Milan-Orio al Serio, Bucharest). Connections from the airport to the city are by bus and taxi. You can make a flight search in the web sites of the companies that operate with the Zaragoza airport: Iberia, Air Europa and Ryanair (low fares company).

RAILWAY- There are frequent high-speed AVE trains from Barcelona-Sants and from Madrid-Atocha train stations to Zaragoza-Delicias Station. Tickets can be purchased on the Internet through the Spanish Railway Company
RENFE website.

BUS - The
bus station is located next to the train station. Buses from Madrid go from the Avenida de América bus station to Zaragoza Delicias Station, while buses from Barcelona go from Estación del Norte (or Nord) to Zaragoza Delicias Station. Tickets can also be purchased via the Internet for both trips through MOVELIA or ALSA.

CAR - Zaragoza has an excellent communication network, and is linked by motorways to Madrid (A2), Barcelona (AP-2), Bilbao (AP-68) and Valencia (A23).

How to get from the Zaragoza airport to the Alfonso Hotel

If you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the driver may charge you approx. 30 euros - even more when arriving in the weekend.
Buses run from the airport to the city center (Paseo Mº Agustin) and back to the airport on a regular basis (
timetable). These buses make several stops on their way to the city, but for you the most convenient one would be the last stop, Paseo Mª Agustin number 7. A one-way ticket costs 1,70 euros and it takes approximately 35-40 minutes, depending on the traffic.
Once you reach Paseo Maria Agustin 7, you can walk down to the hotel (it will take you approximately 15 minutes). A taxi from the last bus stop to the hotel, maybe 3-4 euros.
